Currency, Banking, Credit cards
Thai¡¯s currency is the Thai Baht and show on currency table as THB. Bank note come in 1,000 baht, 500 Baht, 100 Baht, 50 Baht and 20 Baht denomination, along with 10 Baht, 5 Baht, 2 Baht, 1 Baht, 50 Satang and 25 Satang coins.
Opening bank hours are 9.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. Automatic Teller Machines (ATM¡¯s) are available 24 hours at most banks, but you should avoid using them late at night, for security reasons.
Generally Visa credit cards, Master credit cards and American Express credit cards are acceptable for most hotels and restaurants.

Languages
The official languages spoken during the APLMF Meeting will be English.
Medical / vaccinations
As in most other countries, visitors do not require vaccinations unless coming from or passing through a designated contaminated area. .

Tipping
Tipping is not a usual practice in Thailand although it is becoming more common. Most hotels and restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill. Taxi drivers do not require a tip, but the gesture is appreciated and 10-20 baht is acceptable for porters.
