uploaded to the website.
NOVEMBER
- The 9th APLMF and WGs Meetings were held from November 20 to 22,
2002, at Legend Hotel Saigon (http://www.legendhotelsaigon.com),
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. A total of 72 participants attended those
meetings from full/corresponding member economies and
international/regional organizations.
- APLMF Circular 40 was published.
- List of Contact Persons for APLMF was sent to member economies.
SEPTEMBER
- APLMF President attend both the 37th CIML meeting and an OIML
Seminar, "What will legal metrology be in 2020" in Saint-Jean-de
Luz, France.

AUGUST
- APLMF President attended the APEC SCSC 3rd meeting, which was
held on August 15-16, 2002 in Acapulco, Mexico.
- APLMF President announced members that the 9th APLMF and WGs
Meetings would be held at Legend Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City,
Vietnam, on November 20-22, 2002. Necessary documents and forms for
the Meetings can be downloaded from the website.
JULY
- The date and location of the 9th APLMF and WGs Meetings were
confirmed as follows:

The APLMF Goods - mugs, towels, and sandglasses - were
prepared in the NMIJ/AIST budget and given to the APLMF as gifts.
The mugs come in three different colors (yellow, green and blue) and
towels in green. All three bear the APLMF name. To get these APLMF
goods, please come and visit the Secretariat.
- The OIML website (
http://www.oiml.org/) was renewed and updated since July 16,
2002.
JUNE
- APLMF Circular 39 was published in June.
- APLMF President attended the 18th WELMEC Committee Meeting from
June 13 to 14 in Vienna, Austria.
- APLMF Secretariat visited Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam,
from June 24 to 29 for prior arrangements for the 9th APLMF and WGs
meetings, which would be held in Ho Chi Minh City from November 20
to 22.
MAY
- APLMF Survey for the 3rd edition of the APLMF
Directory was due on May 31, 2002.
- The payment of the APLMF membership fee for 2002 was
due on May 31, 2002.
APRIL
- APLMF Train-the-Trainer course for Verification of
Non-automatic Weighing Instruments was held from April 8 to 13, 2002
in Hanoi, Vietnam.
- APLMF President and Secretariat visited Kyoto
International Conference Hall, Japan, on April 5, 2002, for the 10th
APLMF and WGs meetings in 2003.
- INTERNEASURE 2002 - International Measurement, Test
and Control Technology Show 2002 - was held from April 10 to 12,
2002, at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo, Japan.
- APLMF Survey for events in member economies was due
on April 30, 2002.
