DECEMBER

• The former APLMF President and staff of Secretariat visited AQSIQ and present APLMF President and Secretariat in Beijing from Dec.16-20, 2007.
  
  

NOVEMBER

• The Circular 58 was published and sent to the members and related organizations.



• The Training Course on Fuel Dispensers for NGV (Natural Gas Vehicle) was held on November 13-16 in Shah Alam, Malaysia. 42 trainees from 13 economies attended the course. The lecture slides and economy reports are available for the members on the training page



• Invoices for the APLMF membership fees will be sent to full member economies within this month.

OCTOBER

• The documents and pictures from the 14th APLMF Meetings are now available on our website for the members.
  
  
• The Presidency and Secretariat has officially transferred to AQSIQ of PR China from NMIJ of Japan at the 14th APLMF Meetings. The contact information of the new Secretariat staff can be found in the contact page.
  
  
• The WG on Training Coordination and the Secretariat is conducting the Survey on Training Needs for 2008-2009. Cooperation by all member economies are requested. The deadline is January 15, 2008.
  
  
• The 14th APLMF Meetings will be held in Zhouzhuang, PR China from October 18 through 20.
  
  

SEPTEMBER

• Training Course on Mechanical Weighing Scale was held from Sep. 25 to 28 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
  
  
• Please submit your meeting documents as soon as possible.
  
  
• The Secretariat office will be closed on Sep. 24 and Oct. 8.

• The registration for the Training Course on CNG Fuel Dispensers is now open. The registration deadline is October 10. Please contact your economy's contact person for travel support approval.

• The deadline to submit the meeting document (organization report) to the 14th APLMF Meetings is September 20.
  
  

• The next Secretariat staffs and AQSIQ staff are visiting Tsukuba for Secretariat Transition Meeting on Aug. 24-25.
  
  

• The registration deadline for the Training Course on Mechanical Weighing Scales is Aug. 31. Please contact your economy's contact person for travel support approval.
  
  

• The deadline for the Survey on Metrological Control on Medical Measurement Instruments is approaching: Aug. 17. If your economy cannot meet the deadline, please contact us.
  
  

JULY

• The APLMF Contact Person of Chinese Taipei has been taken over by Mr. Jhi- Shien Jiang. The former contact Mr. Wu-Hsiung Chen has been retired from BSMI. The contact detail is available on our website for the APLMF members.
  
  
• The Secretariat visited Zhouzhuang from July 24 to 27 for the 14th Meetings preparation.
  
  
• The APLMF contact persons of Japan have been taken over by Mr. Yuji Okamura and Mr. Masayuki Ishikawa. Their contact details are available on the website for the members.
  
  
• The registration for the Training Course on Mechanical Weighing Scales is open now. The registration deadline is August 31.Please note that all applicants must receive an approval from their economy's contact person in order to apply for the APEC or APLMF travel support.

• The due for the membership fee for 2007 has passed. The Secretariat is available for consultation on financial issues.

• The 14th APLMF Meetings are going to be held on October 18-20, 2007 in Zhouzhang, PR China.
  
  
• Electricity meters seminar participants: Please submit your audience evaluation to the APLMF Secretariat. The form can be found here.



• "Handbook on Automated Sphygmomanometers" and "Report of Training Course on Verification of LPG Fuel Dispensers" have been published and sent to the member economies and the training course participants.

MARCH

• The Seminar on Electricity Meters has been completed. 49 audience from 13 economies attended.
  
  
• The 13th Meetings Report has been published and sent to the participants, member economies and related organizations. Extra copies are available for those who wish to have.

FEBRUARY

• The ID and password for the APLMF members-only webpages have been changed. Please contact us for more information.
  
  
• Mr. Hyun Tae KIM replaced Mr. Gi-Hyung NA as a contact person of Republic of Korea on Feb. 28.
  
  
• The 2nd draft of the 13th Meeting Report is going to be published on Feb. 22. Please submit your comment or request by Feb. 21 if any.
  
  
• The registration deadline for the APEC/APLMF Seminar on Electricity Meters is approaching! Submit your registration by Feb. 16.
  
  
• APEC/APLMF Workshop on Metrology of Agricultural Products and Foods was held from Feb. 7 to 9 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. 72 speakers and audience from 12 economies attended.
  
  
• Circular 55 has been published and sent to the members and related organizations.

JANUARY

• The registration for the APEC/APLMF Seminar on Electricity Meters is now open. The registration deadline is Feb.16. The registration form is available online.
  
  
• The first draft of the 13th APLMF Meetings report has been uploaded for members' confirmation. Please give us your comments if any by Jan. 31.
  
  
• The President and the Executive Secretary are going to attend the APEC SRBs Workshop (Sydney) and APEC SCSC Meeting (Canberra) from Jan. 22 to 25.
