DIRECTORY OF LEGAL METROLOGY IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION, THIRD EDITION, 2003
The Asia-Pacific Legal Metrology Forum (APLMF) published the Directory of Legal Metrology in the Asia-Pacific in 1995 and 1998. Provided by legal metrology authorities in the Asia-Pacific region, it contains vast information on the legislation, institutional and operational aspects of legal metrology and thus facilitates understanding of each of the national legal metrology systems, building confidence, and developing mutual recognition among those authorities in the region. Entries were included for 16 economies in the first edition and for 22 economies in the second edition. APLMF now has a total of 26 member economies (as of May 2003), so this third edition includes information on a total of 23 member economies. This directory comprises the information entered from 16 economies in 2002 and seven economies in 1998 as follows:
