The 2016 World Metrology Day Web Site goes live

The theme this year is "Measurements in a dynamic world" - this topic was chosen to align with the increasing rapid pace of change in measurement science, and indeed of the world around us.

Last year's World Metrology Day was a huge success and OIML hopes to build on that success in 2016.

On the web site, you may download Press Release, Directors' Messages and poster.

The poster may be downloaded as PDF and PhotoShop files in English and French, and may be translated into other languages.  Subject to the conditions listed on the website, organizations may add their own logo to the top right hand corner of the poster.

The OIML requests your assistance in promoting this event which commemorates the 1875 signing of the Metre Convention on the 20 May.  Please advise the ‘World Metrology Day Team’ know by email the events your economy are organizing so that they can be included on the website to inspire others.  You can also see the sort of events organized by other NMIs in previous years on the website.
